First established in 1971 by George Salter in Melbourne, Arnold Costs Solicitors have called Adelaide home since 2010 under the experienced management of Graeme Arnold.

From July 2023, we merged with Blackstone Legal Costing, a leading national costing service, with established offices across the Eastern seaboard. While we remain proudly and distinctly South Australian, we can now offer the additional resources and interstate support Blackstone provides.

Today, the bulk of our clients are smaller suburban and country practices in all areas of law, including class actions.

We provide bill assessments; offer mediation and negotiation services; and conduct CPD seminars and training recognised by the South Australian Law Society. Our lawyers are regularly called upon to provide expert legal reports or appear as court witnesses for security for costs applications or in support of class action settlement schemes. We also provide advice for state conduct commissioners in overcharging matters or in support of applications to courts for practitioner/client costs awards.
